Popular science books

We have helped authors to produce popular science books for different readerships, including subject-specialists and the general public. A specialist editor or translation team works long-term with the author, through various revision cycles with the publisher, until the content is finalized.

Website content

We have translated, edited, and/or copywritten text for hundreds of websites over the years. The content may be highly technical or general, and we pay careful attention to using a writing style that is most suitable for the website visitors. We can lengthen or reduce text to fit the website design as needed.

We have worked with professional societies to translate and edit highly technical, lengthy e-learning material in various medical fields. Across tens of study units written by multiple authors, we ensured consistency of terminology as well as tone and voice throughout.

In line with the government’s program to foster Japan’s young researchers of the future, we have worked with designated research institutions and universities to create online courses on critical reading and writing skills for selected high schoolers (available in Japanese or English). In addition, we have made summaries of highly technical research papers suitable for high schoolers, which are illustrated with original cartoons by our illustrator and made available online.

Official reports

We have translated and edited a wide variety of official reports for corporations, government agencies, and NPOs. These documents include white papers, standardization and regulatory documents, policy papers, thinktank reports, technical reports, and annual and CSR reports.

Textbooks

We have completed translation and editing of numerous textbooks and monographs in a wide variety of fields, including economics, surgery, and language education. We ensure consistency of formatting, layout, and terminology throughout.

Enhanced Publications

We have worked with authors, institutions, and scholarly publishers to conceive, write, or translate/edit the following enhanced publications (or, enhanced content): graphical abstracts, infographics, plain language summaries, and lay summaries.
