ISMPP releases position statement on AI in medical publications
 

The International Society for Medical Publication Professionals (ISMPP) is a global organization dedicated to promoting excellence and integrity in the field of medical publication. ISMPP has issued a position statement regarding the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in medical publications and communications. Published in Current Medical Research and Opinion, the statement highlights the importance of appropriate AI use, which includes maintaining confidentiality of patient data, establishing accountability of authors who use AI, and proper disclosures and transparency about how AI has been employed.
